According to the official website announcement, Verizon will offer customers one of three phones:

IT House understands that all three phones have received overwhelmingly negative reviews on Verizon’s website, with a maximum rating of two stars. Verizon said users can refuse to receive a free flip phone by calling customer service,If the phone is not returned and the phone is not activated within 30 days, Verizon will automatically activate it for the user.
Other U.S. carriers have taken similar steps to prevent customers with older devices from being unable to use service after the network transition. Last year, AT&T shipped Samsung smartphones with 4G to some customers with 3G devices.
