AirPods and AirPods Pro come with a convenient charging and storage case, but depending on which model you have, there are several different case models. Chassis replacement or upgrade
At Apple, it costs $49 to replace a case with a defective battery. Replacing a lost case costs $59-99. It costs $59-$89 to replace a damaged case.

If you just want to buy a new or upgraded case right away:
The original wireless charging case for 1st and 2nd generation AirPods costs $79 and sometimes less. There are third-party cases for the 3rd Gen and AirPods Pro, however, be aware that they don’t work the same as Apple’s original charging case.

Find your AirPods model
On business
If you have an LED on the outside of the case, it’s a wireless charging case (also supports Lightning charging). If your LED is inside a case, it is a standard charging case (only supports Lightning charging). You can find the model number on the top left or right side of the top of the case cover. If you have AirPods 3 or Pro (October 2021 or newer), you will also have MagSafe
On an iPhone, your AirPods, or a box
With your headphones connected to your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth > About, then tap AirPods. Swipe down to see the model number. The model number can also be found in small print on the inside of each earbud (you may need a magnifying glass) If you have the box, you can find the model number on the bottom edge
