Flying cars have been in the news for several years. A few weeks ago, Tomasz Patan, the co-founder of Swedish company Jetson Aero, made the trip to his workplace with an electric vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL) aircraft. A first in history.
Tomasz Patan went to work with the Jetson One, an $83,000 electric single-seat flying vehicle. The latter indicates that the course in EVTOL made it possible to reduce your normal car journey time by 90%. A video of the theft was shared on the firm’s official Facebook page.
At present, 400 copies of the Jetson One have already been sold by Jetson Aero. The flying vehicle was developed and manufactured following the rules of the Federal Aviation Administration. It weighs 86 kilograms and measures 2.48 x 1.5 x 1.03 meters. Able to fly at a maximum altitude of 1,500 meters, its top speed can reach 100 kilometers per hour. On the other hand, its autonomy does not exceed 20 minutes.
According to the firm, owners of the electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft will not need a pilot’s license to operate it. However, the device might be banned in several countries due to their laws and regulations.
