After two films, Paramount Pictures announces that there will be a third Sonic the Hedgehog film. This is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.
In addition to Sonic, Tales and Knuckles are also part of the party. And Ben Schwartz seems to be returning as Sonic’s voice actor, at least in the original version. On twitter he euphorically shared the announcement of the third part.
Some might think of another Sonic film now. In fact, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the highest-grossing video game adaptation in the US of all time, grossing $402.2 million (Box Office). You can read our review of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 here.
