According to the report, Micron’s total share of the $3.7 billion automotive memory market in 2021 will be 55.0%, up slightly from 53.9% in 2020.
Micron’s $51.6 billion share of the overall automotive semiconductor market was 3.9%, up slightly from 3.4% in 2020.
Micron’s share of the $46.8 billion global consumer semiconductor market will be 2.5% in 2021, down slightly from 2.8% in 2020.
Micron’s $88.1 billion share of the global smartphone semiconductor market will be 8.2% in 2021, down from 10.3% in 2020.
The agency also noted that compared with semiconductor manufacturers specializing in the automotive market (NXP’s automotive semiconductor revenue accounted for 47% of the company’s total revenue, Infineon’s 46%), Micron’s automotive share accounted for 7% of total revenue .
