IT House July 9 news, following the debut of the TECNO Camon 19 series, the company has launched the TECNO Camon 19 Pro Special Edition with a unique backplane design.
The TECNO Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition has a unique back panel that changes color when exposed to sunlight.It relies on polychromatic photoisomerization technology to “follow the geometric pattern of color changes in the sun”.
TECNO Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition not only changes color in sunlight, it also reacts when exposed to any type of light, both indoors and outdoors. On normal settings, the back of the phone is all white, with straight lines and right angles in the middle. However, when light hits it, a design inspired by the artistic style of the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian unfolds.
TECNO teamed up with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts to unveil the device:
In terms of specifications, the TECNO Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition device is indistinguishable from the regular Camon 19 Pro. It is equipped with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a 12nm-based MediaTek Helio G96 chip along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
On the back, the TECNO Camon 19 Pro features a 64MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP depth camera, with a front-facing 32MP selfie camera. TECNO claims the device’s rear camera features “the first high-definition crystal-sensitive lens with an RGBW sensor” to challenge the best Android camera phones for night photography.
TECNO claims it is “the world’s first smart device that uses ‘Sunshine Mapping’ technology to let a phone change color in sunlight”.
The TECNO Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition will be available in July alongside the rest of the Camon 19 series, with plans for Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South Asia.
As part of the gift set, TECNO will also include the TECNO Sonic 1 earphones in the box, which support up to 50 hours of battery life.
