Microsoft had been talking about it for months without anything coming out, finally the new Windows 11 file explorer was invited in the last update released to Insiders.
You have to access Build 25174 to discover a new file explorer redesigned to better integrate visually with the codes of Windows 11 but also to access advanced features.
Microsoft has thus modernized its explorer to make it more practical and allow you to navigate more easily within the files. Behind the scenes, the explorer has been extensively optimized so that it no longer consumes as much RAM as in the past.
On the front, there is a system of tabs that allow you to multiply the pages without multiplying the windows, which should facilitate navigation and speed up navigation without having to go through the tree structure of the disks.
