Ahead of the 2022 NHL Draft, the New York Rangers traded Alexandar Georgiev to the Colorado Avalanche. In return, the Rangers will receive a third and fifth-round selection in the 2022 draft and a third-round pick in the 2023 draft. Not a bad start to the offseason for general manager Chris Drury.
