If you like to duel some monsters in your spare time, the latest free update of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel on Nintendo Switch should make people happy. Available since the beginning of the week, this famous update offers a large number of additions:
- A Portal for Solo Mode
- A Selection Pack
- A new multiplayer event
- Various additions and changes.
Below is the official press release from Konami listing all new items:
Duelist’s Cup is a new two-stage multiplayer event with tons of rewards. During the first stage, players can win Duels to increase their level (DLv) and unlock gifts. When they reach the highest level, they qualify for the second stage, which will begin on August 18. During it, players will be able to win Duels to obtain points (DP) and thus raise their rank in the Cup. When the event ends on August 21, Duelists will receive rewards based on their finishing position. The player with the most DP will be crowned the Duelist Cup champion. It’s time to Duel and prove who is the best!
The update also includes the new ‘The Invincible Coleotroop’ Portal for Solo Mode, as well as the new ‘Raid Invincible’ Selection Pack. These two packs are based on monsters Coleotroopwhich enter Yu Gi Oh! MASTER DUELING.
The new “Casual Match” mode allows Duelists to compete without impacting their rank or level. They will be able to test new strategies, play without the pressure of rankings or simply meet all kinds of Duelists thanks to Casual Matches, which offer an alternative to Ranked Matches.
The update also includes many other additions and game quality improvements, including new map activation animations, options to view Duel animations, UI updates and more. Duelists can check the in-game notification for a full list of changes.
