Allowing you to send and receive faxes, Free’s fax service for subscribers Freebox will permanently end on November 30, 2022. Free makes this discreet announcement for a service that may seem anachronistic these days, but still retains a loyal user base in companies.
Offered free of charge to Freebox subscribers, the Free Fax service authorizes sending from a computer by selecting a file in pdf, doc, txt, xls, jpg or even ppt format which are cited as examples. If necessary, it is possible to receive a notification for the transmission… by email.
Similarly, a notification is sent by email to the recipients and each time a fax is received. It contains timestamp information and the fax as an attachment in pdf format, can be read in the help of the service.
