At least eleven people were killed and wounded in a family shootout in central Egypt, local media reported on Sunday. A dispute between two families in the village of Abu al-Hidr in the Asyut governorate escalated on Friday and eventually led to an armed clash, leaving eight people killed in the quarrel and another three injured.
