Since the launch of the new Sony console, “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate” has been struggling with various display problems on the PlayStation 5. It looks like these will be fixed in due course.

Shortly after the launch of the new Sony console in November 2020, it became apparent that “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate” was struggling with various display problems when the action-adventure was played via the backwards compatibility of the PlayStation 5.

Even though the community has repeatedly pointed out the problems in the past, a technical solution in the form of an update is still a long way off. However, the developers at Ubisoft could possibly be working on a corresponding patch at the moment. A recent tweet read: “The team is aware of some visual issues in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on PS5 and is working on a fix as soon as possible. We don’t have any updates yet, but please keep an eye out for updates on that.”

Update continues without appointment

The fact that the said tweet from Ubisoft support was deleted only a short time later caused confusion. It remains to be seen what all this means for a possible release date of the update. Especially since Ubisoft already posted a similar message on Twitter in February of this year. Since then, however, no specific details have been given about a possible patch for “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate”.

“Assassin’s Creed Syndicate” originally appeared in 2015 for the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and made a name for itself at the launch, especially with various bugs. Once these were fixed, a thoroughly entertaining adventure set in Victorian-era London, themed on the Industrial Revolution, was revealed.
