Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance has already been reissued, now it’s the turn of the sequel. Its re-release is not only coming for many platforms, but also very soon.
The action-RPG classic Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II is making its return soon, joining the re-release of its predecessor. As confirmed by Interplay and Wizards of the Coast, the new edition of the game will be released on July 20th. The platforms mentioned are PC, Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
All variants come with two-player local co-op and also support 4K resolutions (at least on PC, Playstation and Xbox). The game itself includes a whopping 80 levels with numerous enemies, hidden areas and lots of fantasy action in the style of Diablo.
The original, then developed by Black Isle, was released for PC in 2001, followed by PS2 and Xbox versions in 2004.
