Some owners of Google’s flagship smartphones Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are complaining about the appearance of growing black spots on the screens of their devices.
Judging by the numerous posts on the Google support page, on Twitter, and on Reddit, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro first have a small pixel-sized black dot on their screens, and then it grows into a black spot. At the same time, users did not drop or update their devices.
Most often, dead pixels appear near the front camera of the Pixel 6 or in the upper right corner of the device.
So far, Google has not commented on the situation, but if the problem turns out to be hardware, the company will have to replace or repair smartphones.
