The machete is a very useful tool on rafting. Indeed, in order to recover the blueprint of the machete, you will have to go to the cave of the boss of the island. The enemy is named “Mama Bear” and guards the entrance. This bear will not hesitate to attack you, if and as soon as she sees you.

Beat or distract “Mama Bear”

You will probably have understood it, in order to collect machete crafting planas well as a machete, it is necessary to face “Mama Bear”. From then on, two possibilities are available to you: one being risky and the other more secure, but requiring more time.

The first solution is to attack “Mama Bear”. However, the bear inflicts significant damage and you could die many times, especially if you play solo and have no equipment. The second option, which seems to us the most viable and secure, is to distract “Mama Bear”. For this you will need to collect 5 berries, in total. These berries can be obtained all over the island. It is by placing the 5 berries in a container, available near the cave, that you will manage to distract “Mama Bear” since she will come to enjoy these wild dishes and you will then have free rein.

Once you’ve gotten rid of the bear, all you have to do is enter the cave to find the machete crafting plan as well as’a copy of said tool.

In the future, if you need to make yourself a macheteknow that you will need to have the following resources:

  • 3 pieces of Scrap.
  • 2 Strings.
  • 2 Metal Ingots.
  • 2 Bolts.
