A new concept trailer tries to show how a potential Far Cry 7 could present itself in the new Unreal Engine 5.
The YouTube channel TeaserPlay has released a new video showing what a possible Far Cry 7 in Unreal Engine 5 could look like. Similar to the previous videos released, this is a concept trailer. The video also contains some small gameplay sequences. A look might be worthwhile.
Resident Evil 4: This is what the Unreal Engine 5 remake could look like
Fan concept trailer clearly recognizable as a Far Cry game
One thing must be stated very clearly. The character models used in this fan concept trailer of a potential Far Cry 7 are not very convincing. The movements are mechanically stiff, while gazes wander soullessly into the distance. Also, unfortunately, the main villain apparently used a model that closely resembles Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston, although that might not be such a bad idea.
On the other hand, it is clear that the lighting effects look fantastic. The lighting of the scenes is successful and can, for example, Far Cry 6
easily trump. TeaserPlay apparently used the Lumens feature of Unreal Engine 5. However, one should not make more out of the trailer than it is. After all, this is just a concept trailer trying to showcase graphical capabilities of the new Unreal Engine 5. It is neither an official concept video from Ubisoft, nor should the real quality of a Far Cry 7 in the Unreal Engine 5 be limited to this level.Source: youtube
