Now the beta of iOS 16 can finally be installed even if you do not have a developer account with Apple. This version of the public beta will be more or less the same as the third developer beta we received last week. In iOS 16, we have news such as a brand new lock screen with widgets, the ability to cut from photos and some improvements for notices.

To install the beta, first install a profile on your iPhone from here and then iOS 16 Public Beta appears in the same place you usually update your iPhone.

And remember, it’s a beta and it’s always good to have a backup of your device before you decide to install beta software.

Here is iOS 16

Gets a brand new lock screen

Apple kicks off WWDC with a new version of the operating system for iPhone – iOS 16. The biggest news is a completely new reading screen where users can change the font of the watch, add widgets and customize in a variety of ways. Apple has also improved how notifications work on the lock screen with features such as Live Activities that will make it easier to follow, for example, a football match. It should also be possible to have different locking screens for different focus positions. Other news include the ability to edit and undo sending messages in iMessage, it should also be possible to edit a conversation as unread. Finally! Apple is also expanding the Live Text function with “quick actions” that can help users, for example, convert currencies directly, it should now also be possible to select objects in images and drag to other apps. Navigation in the Maps app will now also receive support for several stops. The Photos app now supports shared libraries, where families or friends can add photos to a shared library. A smart feature is that it should be possible to share images to different libraries directly from the camera, when someone edits images in shared libraries, this should be synchronized for everyone in the library. The Home app has also got a completely new design with new categories and other visual improvements that will make it easier to control different devices. The updated app comes to iOS, iPadOS and macOS. As usual, the new version of iOS will come in a sharp version sometime this autumn in connection with the arrival of new iPhones.
