Announced last March by Square Enix, The DioField Chronicle take advantage of this summer to talk about him again. A strategic RPG promising intense real-time battles, a brand new trailer for the game has just been released on Youtube, confirming its release on September 22, 2022 on Nintendo Switch and competing media. In addition, a demo of the title will also be available from August 10, 2022, allowing us to discover the entire first chapter with the possibility of transferring our save game to the final game.

This all-new strategic RPG immerses players in an epic blend of war, honor and intense real-time tactical combat. The pre-orders of The DioField Chronicle in physical and digital format are now open on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Pre-orders for the physical versions are also available on Nintendo Switch and will soon be available for the digital versions.


The DioField Chronicle features a real-time strategic combat system called “Real Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB), driven by a dark and immersive storyline created by an experienced and talented development team. The original characters were designed by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III, IV), the concept arts are signed by Isamu Kamikokuryo (FINAL FANTASY XII, FINAL FANTASY XIII), and the music is beautifully orchestrated by composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, known worldwide for their work on Game Of Thrones.
