Starfield is one of the most anticipated games of the moment, and yet we didn’t know much about it. After a teasing cinematic and a few development videos littered with concept artit’s time to find out more as part of the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase from this evening.

For nearly ten minutes, we were able to discover a bunch of excerpts from gameplay of the project, exactly what the curious have wanted for years. First or third person exploration, harvesting resources, mysterious planet, visiting the lush New Atlantisfantastic creatures, hero customization tool by choosing a past that will influence our skills and personality traits, overview of the skill tree, system of craft, possibility to create your own ship and manage a base (and choose the team that occupies them), space battles… Anything goes. Todd Howard concluded with a pleasant surprise: like a No Man’s Skybut to a lesser extent, the stars will be entirely visitable, which means that we will have more than 1,000 planets to explore in their entirety, without limit of landing point or other!

Recently postponed to 2023, Starfield does not yet have a release date, but should be available before June on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
