The latest edition of Nintendo Direct focused on games from third-party developers, but Nintendo themselves are not on the lazy side either. Now they have announced a new game, and it is always just as greedy Kirby who is in the center.
The game is called Kirby’s Dream Buffet and revolves around a race where it is not only a matter of getting to the finish line, but also munching on as much food (mainly strawberries) as possible along the way. There are no vehicles and Kirby does not even seem to be able to run, but the four participants are instead allowed to roll forward on obstacle courses that are a bit reminiscent of Fall Guys.
To help them, there are also some abilities to collect food faster. The last of the four rounds in each round should be a “fruity battle on a floating platform”, where it might pay to be as thick as possible?
The game will be released exclusively on Nintendo Eshop sometime this summer.
