Whether a lucky coincidence or someone’s inspiration, or both, the motto of the 39th Munich Film Festival (June 23-July 2) has captured the zeitgeist of this summer in the Bavarian capital. “Unleashed” is the title of the fest which will be screening 120 films from 52 countries, with 35 of the entries making their world premieres.
