Persona 5 Royal: October 2022 on PC and Xbox One

What is the release plan?

The launch of the three Persona games begins with Persona 5 Royal on October 21, 2022 for Xbox One, Series X|S and PC. Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will then follow in 2023 for these platforms. At first it was only known that these titles would be released for the Xbox platforms mentioned and the PC. In a press release opposite Eurogamer A spokesman then explained that these titles should be made available for Steam and Playstation 5. Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona 5 Strikers are already available via Steam. This will make the Persona series more complete on Steam. Japan fans who love video games should rejoice.

However, the exact release plan for Steam and Playstation 5 was left out in the explanation submitted later – it is not entirely clear whether this was deliberate or overlooked. This could also mean that the Persona games could initially only be available for Xbox and PC as a time-exclusive and the other platforms would follow later. persona 5 Royal (extended version of Persona 5 with all DLCs) was previously playable on the Playstation 4. Persona 3 Portable was originally intended for the PSP, while Persona 4 Golden was a PS Vita title.
