Which takes place after the basic game, so spoilers.
Yesterday Capcom held court, and of course there was news about the big title Resident Evil Village. The novelty is called Winter’s Expansion and is an expansion that includes three different parts. First out is the ability to play from a third-person perspective, which sounds like a good boost before the remake of Resident Evil 4 (even if it takes a while).
Furthermore, the Mercenaries mode will have more content and more playable characters, including a fully equipped Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu, where the latter’s special attack seems to be throwing a dressing table at the enemies, which in itself makes the game mode worth a try.
The last part is a new part of the plot, and since it takes place 16 years after the basic game and spoils part of the plot, you should stop reading here and skip the video below if you have not finished playing the game yet.
The DLC goes by the name Shadows of Rose and sees us shoulder the role of Rose – Ethan’s daughter who we try to save in the base game. Then she was just a baby, but now she is 16 years older and looking to break the curse that rests on her.
We do not know what the entire Winter’s Expansion party will cost, and Capcom will also release Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, which includes the basic game and the expansion. In any case, the expansion will be released on October 28, and at the same time the multiplayer mode Re: Verse will also start (which costs nothing if you own the game).
The post Resident Evil Village will receive a third-person view and action DLC appeared first on Gamingsym.
