A new trailer and (some) gameplay for the remake of Resident Evil 4

During his own showcase organized on the occasion of the Summer Game FestCapcom has unveiled a new teaser for Resident Evil 4 remake.

It’s not much, but the presentation that followed offered us some snippets of novelties, like Leon’s redesigns which takes up the features of the remake of Resident Evil 2 by Ashley, by Ada Wong who left his iconic-but-practical Red dress in the wardrobe and the inhabitants of the Spanish village: the Ganados.

As its director and producer explain, Yasuhiro Anpo and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, Resident Evil 4 Remake will not just take the original game and apply a modern technical grind, but will take the opportunity to change what can befor the sake of the experience while fixing some shortcomings of the Gamecube release.

Clearly, Capcom wants to give back a little more room for horrorand don’t hesitate to put the RE Engine to contribute to propose a particularly sticky and heavy atmospherebut the story doesn’t say if the rest of the game will enjoy similar treatment, especially from when the original title turns borderline in non-stop action game.

If all goes well, Resident Evil 4 will be available March 24 on PC and only on next-gen consoles, either the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
