New electric Mini Cooper leaks out
Delicious?
In 2023, Mini will launch the next generation of Cooper. Now pictures of the new car unmasked have been leaked online. The pictures come from China where several prototypes are being tested and this is the electric version of Cooper S. What we can see is a face we recognize but the butt is completely new and quite speckled. Whether anything will change once the production version is here remains to be seen.

Winter tests with new electric Mini Cooper
Also in Arjeplog
New electric Mini that have not been presented yet should right now be up in Arjeplog to be hard tested in the cold climates. There, BMW has a test center and the car gets to show what it’s good for when it comes to the driveline, battery pack, charging technology and other gadgets that are greatly affected by the cold. The three-door version we see here will be the first to be launched. A new version of Countryman is also coming and it will also be completely electric. Mini also announces that a completely new crossover concept will be presented during the year.

Mini begins to convert old classics to electricity
Out with the old, in with the new
In 2018, Mini showed off a classic Mini that they had converted to electricity. It was then just about a car that was developed for the New York Auto Show. You got a good response, but that was a few years ago. Now, however, they have revived this project again, and present Mini Recharged. It is a service aimed at those of you who have a Mini from 1959 to 2000 and who feel that the old internal combustion engine should be replaced with an electric driveline instead. Then you get an electric motor of up to 121 horses and a range of around 160 km. In terms of appearance, the car retains its charm and the original engine is marked and stored safely on the pallet, in case you would like to restore the car at some point in the future. The conversion is taking place in the UK, but what it costs is not clear at the moment.
