While F1 2022 was released on July 1 and seems to delight fans of the genre, another game focusing on the official Formula One championship will soon be released. This is F1 Manager 2022, announced last March, which will be available next month. After a first preview during its reveal, it is today a second developer diary which is presented by Frontier in order to learn more about the creative process of the game.
New exciting making-of
This new video details in particular the creation and capture of the faces of the pilots. David Braben, CEO and founder of Frontier, and Matt Dickinson, Artistic Director of the game, explain in particular how they want to immerse the player in the heart of the discipline and work to make the atmosphere as authentic as possible.
We discover the work done on the faces of Alexander Albon and Guanyu Zhou which required the use of more than 200 cameras to model the features of the pilots. The latter also have their own statistics in order to accurately reflect the behaviors and driving styles of each.
You can find more details below while the game will be available on August 30 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players who pre-order F1 Manger 2022 will be able to enjoy it 5 days before.
