In the documentary, the staff said that archaeology is like “opening a blind box”. In addition to the “Moonlight Treasure Box”, an unprecedented new national treasure, a mythical beast resembling Peppa Pig appeared at the excavation site. According to the video, since the excavation started again in 2020, nearly 13,000 cultural relics have been unearthed from the 6 sacrificial pits newly discovered at the Sanxingdui site, and the archaeological excavation has entered the final stage. It is worth mentioning that there is also a “heavy” cultural relic extraction in Pit No. 7 today – a mesh device. The archaeological team has been preparing for a period of time, and it is expected that the extraction of the mesh device will be completed today. In addition to this, pit 7 will also extract delicate small bronzes today. It is reported that the Sanxingdui ancient site is so far in the southwest.
