Today, June 16th, a massive demo of the Sunbreak expansion for Monster Hunter Rise is coming to the Switch and Steam.

New content for Sunbreak is coming until at least 2023

Capcom is giving players the opportunity to try Sunbreak before the DLC takes you into the new jungle on June 30th. This is a twist on the area from 2006’s Monster Hunter 2, featuring new elements and monsters.

For example, the flying Astalos, the great Izuchi, the Tetranadon and the strong Malzeno – the showpiece monster of the expansion – live in the jungle. You can also check out the new switch skill swap system and new attacks in today’s demo.

More news about Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak:

At last night’s Capcom Showcase, the publisher also showed off a new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, introducing the newly confirmed monsters Espinas, Gore Magala, as well as the Daimyo Hermitaur and the Pyre Rakna-Kadaki.

Even after the release of the DLC, there should be new content. So join the mighty Lucent Nargacuga and other rare beings as well as the iconic Forlorn Arena in August. Autumn then brings new rare monsters and variations. There will also be further updates in winter and 2023.
