Need for Speed Most Wanted: Fan shows concept for remake in Unreal Engine 5
What’s in the fan video?
For the new fan concept video, TeaserPlay used the most important functions of Unreal Engine 5. So you can prepare yourself for the use of Lumen, Nanite, Screen Space Raytracing and Global Illumination Shader. We also see a fan remake of a 3D model that closely resembles the action-survival-adventure’s red-haired protagonist, Regina. TeaserPlay has also recreated a number of environments inspired by locations from the first Dino Crisis game. He also added two different dinosaur models to the concept video. We have a T-Rex on one side and the raptors on the other. The latter also have an appearance as Mega Raptor. While the 3D model of the T-Rex is convincing, the raptors could have looked a little better.
The original Dino Crisis was released in 1999 for the original Playstation and was developed by Capcom. The game’s creator is Shinji Mikami, the father of the Resident Evil series. The game is about a military special forces that is dropped on an island where a military research facility is located. The team quickly encounters the game’s main threat: deadly dinosaurs roam the island. For years die-hard Dino Crisis fans have been asking for a remake or remaster of the original game. But whether that will ever happen remains questionable.
