Capcom announces more content for Resident Evil – Village. In addition to a new chapter, there is help for those suffering from motion sickness and the date for the multiplayer mode.
The Winters expansion will be available on October 28th, 2022 for all systems where Resident Evil Village is available. The new content includes a third-person mode for the campaign, The Mercenaries Additional Orders featuring new stages and playable characters Chris Redfield, Heisenberg and Lady Dimitrescu.
Rose Winters on the horror trip
The story continues in the new chapter Shadows of Rose. Set 16 years after the events of Resident Evil Village, this new story follows main protagonist Ethan’s daughter, Rose Winters, as she struggles with her fearsome powers. In it, the player explores an enchanted and mysterious realm in the mind of the Megamycete, in search of a cure, and of course fighting for survival. The Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, a bundle of the Winters’ expansion and the main game, will also be available on October 28, 2022, partly as a physical box and digitally for all platforms, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Steam and Stadia released.
Resident Evil Re:Verse, a multiplayer mode that will be free for Resident Evil Village players, goes live on the same date. Resident Evil Village producer Tsuyoshi Kanda also shared that the game’s main story is now in production for PSVR2 and Mac as well.
