“The coming weeks will be filled with news and noise about this case,” including speculation from the media and analysts. “Some of this helps explain the complex process, but much of the speculation is distracting,” he wrote in an email to employees.
He ended the email with a note of encouragement: “Everything we do, as individuals and as a team, impacts people’s lives and has a strong sense of responsibility and purpose. Together, our resilience will propel us forward. go ahead.”
Twitter formally sued Musk on Tuesday, local time.Ask the Tesla CEO to complete the $44 billion acquisition of the company as per the agreement he signed in late April. Musk announced the termination of the deal on Friday, citing Twitter’s breach of contract terms by not providing it with information about spam accounts.
Twitter denies the claim,And applied to the U.S. court in Delaware to force Musk to complete the deal.
