The Capcom Showcase did not fail to communicate on Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbrea slated for release by the end of the month. New monsters, demo and free updates, last minute cartridges are released before the official launch.
Monster Hunter Without Borders
Great news for fans, the MMORPG Monster Hunter Frontier (exclusive to Asia) has not fallen into oblivion since we will be entitled on the way back from Espinas in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Which means other never-before-seen monsters from the online game may return in the future.
The other big monster revealed is none other than the Gore Magala, the star monster of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on 3DS. We have also seen a new area which is none other than the modernized “Jungle”.
Capcom even gives us the start of the menu for the month of August with the announcement ofa first free update that will add the Lunar Nargacuga and a new area: the Forbidden Tower. We should have more details after Sunbreak is released, but the firm’s roadmap is already ready with a second update scheduled for this fall and a third for next winter. Good news, they will also continue in 2023.
A free demo for tomorrow
As for the release of monster hunter risethe extension will be entitled to a demo for the Nintendo Switch version and the PC version on Steam. Starting tomorrow, June 15, 2022players will be able to learn the basics of the game (as well as the new expansion mechanics such as talent transfer) and hunt an Astalos, a Tetranodon, a Grand Izuchi, and even the Malzeno (Sunbreak’s favorite monster).
