“Isonzo” will be released on September 13, 2022 for consoles and PC. Shooter fans can already see a new trailer today.

The WW1 shooter “Isonzo” has been given an appointment. According to today’s announcement, it will be released on September 13, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The price is 29.99 euros. A trailer is available for viewing below these lines.

From the makers of Verdun and Tannenberg, Isonzo aims to recreate the relentless battles of war in the mountains of the Italian front. The first-person shooter covers the southern front where Italy and Austria-Hungary met.

“Isonzo takes the series to the next level, immersing players like never before by offering a unique, historically accurate way to experience the battles on high with the Offensive game mode,” say the creators in today’s announcement.

Isonzo with new class system

Players take part in key historical moments such as the battles for the Isonzo, leading the attack or preparing their defense in the Italian countryside. Isonzo’s new class system introduces different roles and loadout options. According to the manufacturer, there are also accurately modeled weapons, uniforms and sound effects.

In the trailer embedded below, the Dolomites map is highlighted. It is the fourth of the six maps that will be included in the game at launch. It shows the Italians attacking the Sasso di Sesto in the mountains.
