To tell you the truth, we were clearly wondering about the reliability of the guy, despite his 778,000 YT followers… We took it well since no less than 48 hours later, it was Jason Schreier, Bloomberg journalist and formerly at Kotaku , which completely denies and silences the rumor. Without misusing an argument of authority concerning him, the latter confirms what we already told you about last May: The game would take place in the Persian Empire, in Baghdad.
However, contrary to the rumor of May, according to him, basim (discovered in Valhalla) would be the protagonist of this opus. He also takes the opportunity to specify on ResetEra that Rift would be a “smaller scale” game and then to have “heard of two main games in development as part of AC Infinity, and neither of them is Aztec”.
