McLaren is officially joining the shift to battery power in the car industry, and the British manufacturer is now launching its first major plug-in hybrid, a two-seater Artura priced upwards of around £182,500 or €230,500 and going on sale mid-2022. The new plug-in supercar consists of a 3-litre petrol engine with 585 horsepower, downsized from eight to six cylinders.
