Apple Music continues to invest in live music with a new initiative called Apple Music Sessions. These are performances recorded (in spatial audio, of course) in the studios of the platform, then offered in streaming to subscribers of the service. The first two sessions are by Carrie Underwood and Tenille Townes, two artists with country accents captured in the Apple Music studio in Nashville.

The two artists offer reinterpretations of their songs and also covers. The songs can be listened to of course, but also seen since there are videos.

Other sessions recorded in Nashville will be offered soon (with Ronnie Dunn, Ingrid Andress…). And there will be genres other than country that will be available.

This new proposal is in addition to the concerts captured and broadcast live for Apple Music Live.
