By David Wetzel New York (Knewz) — The Biden Administration announced June 15 that it has nominated Derek Chauvin prosecutor Jerry Blackwell to be a federal district court judge for the District of Minnesota. Biden nominated Jerry Blackwell, who helped prosecute Chauvin, a former Minnesota police officer who was found guilty of unintentional second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for the killing of George Floyd in May 2020.
