Tesla lost the case in Germany. Recently, according to Germany’s “Der Spiegel”, a Munich court has ruled that Tesla loses the lawsuit and needs to repay a Model X owner of 112,000 euros (about 757,100 yuan) for the purchase of the car. The reason for losing the lawsuit is that Tesla’s Autopilot function has security risks. Reports show that Teslas with the feature enabled were unable to reliably identify obstacles such as tight spots on construction sites, while “ghost braking” was also possible.
