This week, Pagani said,The company found that an electric car with supercar performance would require a 600kg battery pack, which is more than half the total weight of the Huayra R (1070kg). So building a 1300kg electric supercar is currently out of the question.
Pagani founder Horacio Pagani believes that a supercar needs more than just acceleration. The biggest challenge in building an electric supercar is to make an electric supercar exude the same emotion as a conventional sports car, which Pagani can’t do right now.
