The US is planning to send another $1 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine to help it fend off the Russian invasion, says US President Joe Biden. Biden made the announcement during a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Additionally, the US is set to release $225 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. This would bring the amount of weapons aid to Ukraine from the US to $5.6 billion since the start of the invasion.
