A New Jersey man was charged with murder Thursday after he allegedly beat a man to death in his driveway after initially arriving at his home to help him move out, authorities said. Samuel C. Coggins, 30, of Flemington, is charged in the death of Augustine Garcia, 50, of Manville, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald. Manville police received a 911 call shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday reporting an assault and unresponsive man outside a home on North 12th Avenue, authorities said.
