The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall laid the foundation for what many would now describe as the Bethesda Formula. In other words, you can play the technically best version of The Elder Scrolls 2 to date on your PC completely free of charge. The biggest advantage of the GOG version compared to the original Daggerfall Unity variant is that it works out of the box without a particularly complex installation.


Daggerfall and the size

Daggerfall was once known for its massive size. The map was according to Bethesda 480,000 square kilometers big. However, this impressive landmass is a randomly generated environment. Nevertheless, there is a lot to explore for the players today. The graphic update in particular should make the title much more palatable for younger fans who were not confronted with the role-playing game in the 90s.
