IT House July 16 news, according to SamMobile reports, the June 2022 security patch appears to be causing problems for Galaxy S21 users using Verizon’s network in the United States.

According to reports from multiple users, after upgrading to the June 2022 Update,Voice call quality drops dramatically on the Verizon version of the Galaxy S21the firmware version is G991USQU5CVF1, and there doesn’t seem to be a fix yet.

Some believe the problem is related to the user’s SIM card, but most users say the problem persists. If nothing else, users will need to wait for the July 2022 security patch to resolve this voice call quality issue.

IT House has learned that the July 2022 security patch is being rolled out for the international version of the Galaxy S21 as well as the unlocked version in the United States, and the carrier version has not received the July 2022 update.

According to Korean media businesskorea, MIMO Research filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing Samsung Electronics of infringing five patents in the field of wireless communications. MIMO Research has classified the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of smartphones as infringing devices, and the patents involved include multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication devices, dual-mode ultra-wideband wireless local area network communication, and other wireless communication methods.
