Please look forward to it.
Hope is the last thing that abandons us, and Dragon’s Dogmafans have been hoping for a sequel for quite exactly ten years. Yesterday was actually the 10th anniversary of the release of the first game, which was celebrated with a birthday stream where they looked back at the popular game. But will there be a sequel then? Yes!
The game was announced by game director Hideaki Itsuno & Co., but unfortunately a picture of the game’s logo is the only thing we have to go on at the moment – no trailer and no screenshots, sadly enough. However, they revealed that they use Capcom’s RE game engine to develop the game, which is the one used in e.g. Resident Evil Village and also forthcoming Street Fighter 6.
We did not get a release date either, and considering that they do not even have pictures to show, the game is probably quite early in the development process.
