The song really took the world by storm and it only took six months for the video to reach a billion views on Youtube, making it the first music video to reach that dream limit. Today, the video has reached 4.4 billion views.
After Psy, more videos have reached the billion mark, but not many videos have gotten there. Luis Fonsi has the most views right now with his Despacito.
