Fans have given the Bethesda classic The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall a major modernization.
This is available free of charge on CD Projekt’s platform GOG under the name Daggerfall Unity: GOG Cut.
Under one roof
As the name suggests, Daggerfall Unity combines a number of different mods into a single package. As a result, Daggerfall’s controls and graphics, among other things, have been modernized, making the game released in 1996 much more playable today.
“Play a reimagined version of the classic RPG from The Elder Scrolls series.” “Daggerfall Unity: GOG Cut brings this amazing experience to modern gamers. This was made possible by a whole team of passionate developers working under the Daggerfall Unity banner.”
“Initiated by Gavin ‘Interkarma’ Clayton over a decade ago, this ambitious project aims to bring the unique experience of the classic open-world RPG to a new generation of gamers. Thanks to the efforts of GamerZakh, a Gaming content creator with a love for the classics, you can now enjoy a special GOG Cut from Daggerfall Unity.”
Other improvements include a quest log, lighting and textures have also been revised. And you can pet cats.
You will find Daggerfall Unity here at GOG.
