TRENTON – State lawmakers got a first look Thursday at a plan to remake Liberty State Park as debate continued to rage about the possibility of privatizing parts of the park. The state Senate Environment and Energy Committee unanimously agreed to send legislation introduced by state Sens. Brian Stack of Union City and Nick Sacco of North Bergen last week to the full Senate for a vote.
