Belkin has a large range of docking stations, from cheap and simple mini-adapters to massive multifunctional dolls with thunderbolt 4 requirements. Connect USB-C 11-in1 Multidock Port ends up somewhere between them. It is a wide dock mainly intended for the desk, which above all gives you extra many ports to connect accessories and screens to.

Opinion
If you know that you should only have the doll on one and the same desk and have the right computer for it, which can utilize the design in the best way, then this is a real booster to the docking box. At least for you who do not run 4k screen. Stylish, spacious, easy to use and versatile, at an affordable price.
Positively
- Extra many connections.
- Works as a laptop support.
- Easy to access all gates.
- Stable and trouble-free.
Negative
- Awkward for mobile use.
- Takes up space.
- Does not support 4k 60Hz.
It is almost 30 centimeters wide, with a wedge-shaped design so that you can place your laptop on top of it and get an ergonomically raised keyboard and extra connections at the back. It works great on a 13- to 14-inch, while a larger laptop can be shaky.
It looks best if your computer has the USB C port on the left side, that’s what the device is designed for, and the cord is too short to pull around the computer. But it is also possible to turn it upside down. The support is not as stable, and text at the back that marks the gates is upside down, but it works. Of course, you can ignore it all and just have the box on the side as well.
Here you get, as the name suggests, eleven functions. To begin with, four USB ports, one of which is type c and one is USB 2.0. The others are all usb 3 gen 1 with five gigabits speed. It is also the standard of the data connection to the computer. The usb c port is then also used to connect a power adapter so that you can send power to the computer via usb c. So for the most part it is supposed to be busy.
All kinds of screen
You get hdmi port, large display port and an old classic vga port if you have a really old screen and want to connect. The range of functions is then supplemented by a 3.5 millimeter analog headset port, gigabit ethernet port and card reader for sd card and micro sd. It is difficult to figure out what more might be needed.
What you do not get here is extra speed. The USB connection to the computer is, as I said, five gigabits, and thus it is as fast as the USB ports in the dock that are most. However, it is good enough for fast read speed for most external USB storage devices, and for close to gigabit speed over ethernet.
The video signal is not that fast either. It supports 4k resolution at 30 Hz, and 1080p screens up to 60 Hz. It is a little different exactly what you can plug into a Windows computer and a Mac, but up to dual 1080p screens with 60 Hz frame rate should be possible. Also a 1440p screen with the same frame rate. but probably not two. We have not had the opportunity to test this.
Simple and stable
We are testing plugging in a 1080p monitor, a USB hard drive, a USB mouse, a headset, a power adapter and a fixed network. That is connected and works clockwise after three seconds. This is exactly how it should go. The speed over ethernet goes to the ceiling of our gigabit connection and the speed over usb 3 seems to keep what is promised. During two days of use, we do not notice any problems with disconnected network or USB devices.
In terms of quality, there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. With a single connected connector, we get plenty of opportunities to expand the computer’s functionality. The solution with the doll as computer support can be practical for some users if they have a computer that it is suitable for. Otherwise, it can be a point to look at more compact designs. Especially if you are going to take it with you on a trip.
With a price a little over a thousand kronor, we expect something extra. In this case, it is extra the large amount of connections, while other slightly more expensive dolls we tested instead focus on higher speed for both data and image. It is up to you what you value.
