The Hot Wheels expansion for Forza Horizon 5 is about to land. This Tuesday, July 19, we will indeed be able to chain loops and other jumps in a new map. A map that Playground Games has just shared on its networks and which promises to be particularly vast!
The Hot Wheels map looks huge
For fans of the series, this first expansion of Forza Horizon 5 has a taste of deja vu. The third opus already offered this unexpected marriage between the two brands and offered thrills along the Australian coast. However, for this new edition, the developers seem to be setting the bar higher. Much higher.
As evidenced by the image above, this new playground will send us into the clouds. Three regions in the form of floating islands will constitute the different areas of the map, linked together by aerial ramps. A tropical forest, an arid canyon and a snow-capped volcano will host our exploits of the impossible. What we offer us a great diversity of situations and challenges. Because, as always, this DLC will come with new challenges and collectibles to keep us busy for several hours.
In terms of dimensions, the size of this new Hot Wheels card is much larger than that of FH3. The work provided by Playground Games seems quite colossal and you just have to compare the images to realize it. To put it simply, the extension of Forza Horizon 5 promises to be four times larger than that of the third opus with a much larger number of roads.
As a reminder, Forza Horizon 5’s Hot Wheels expansion retails for $19.99 or €17.99 for Game Pass subscribers. Note that it is also included in the Premium pack sold for €49.99 (€39.99 for Game Pass subscribers) which also offers the second extension upon its release as well as additional vehicles to be collected in-game.
