PHILIP ELLA JUICO stepped down as president of the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) on Saturday. Juico, 74, resigned after eight years as president. He said he’ll focus on his family and businesses. He tendered his resignation during the PATAFA board meeting on Saturday morning at the Makati Diamond Residence. Terry Capistrano, on the other hand, was appointed by the PATAFA the board as the new association’s president. Capistrano who served as executive president and secretary-general, will complete the remainder of Juico’s term than ends with the Paris 2024 Olympics. …
